Summary/Objective The truck driver position performs a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans. The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you as well as working closely with our team in order to plan routes and track deliveries.
Essential Functions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up 50 to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40 hours per week.

Travel is primarily local during the business day.

You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you as well as working closely with our team in order to plan routes and track deliveries.
Essential Functions
- Accurately pulling orders for delivery in a timely and safe manner.
- Properly and efficiently unloading cargo/trucks and checks with Supervisor upon completion for next delivery instruction/information.
- Properly and efficiently completing Pre/Post Vehicle Inspections on daily basis.
- Maintaining truck logs according to company policy and Federal/State regulations.
- Fueling, washings and maintaining vehicles as needed/required per Company policy.
- Maintaining contact with the Warehouse Manager as needed/required.
- Safely and accurately operating warehouse equipment at all times to load, unload, or disperse cargo and/or materials.
- Physically inspecting items for damage as needed and/or requested by the customer.
- Inspecting shipments/equipment as needed.
- Contacting his/her supervisor in the event a customer wants to make changes to a delivery.
- Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
- Keep commercial driver license up to date.
- Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
- May plan route to insure most economical use of time and equipment.
- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Class A CDL or commercial driver license.
