Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. ( Saturday's as needed)

Position Summary: The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for the supervision and implementation of all maintenance tech activity in order to optimize production and carry out safe and efficient planned maintenance routines. Leader offers training and problem solving with sound people skills in a servant leader manner. Your team is small, but very effective!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and performs routine and emergency maintenance (major and minor) of manufacturing and facilities machinery and equipment.
- Installation, assembly and testing of industrial machinery during plant modification and/or expansion.
- Inspects work for completeness and tools and equipment for accountability.
- Direct training of maintenance techs in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Review PM procedures, and regularly review and monitor maintenance personnel routines.
- Assist with developing new PM's for equipment and maintain and or update current program with any changes per the direction of management.
- Assist management in maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment. Notify manager if parts are needed.
- Seek opportunities and suggest changes with the uses of equipment for production, quality and to increase efficiency of maintenance department.
- Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Directs, maintains and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.
- Supporting change management and empowering and engaging employees.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive reliability improvement program which will ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and reliable method.
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

- Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
- Maintain and enforce standards of good manufacturing practices, Lock Out/Tag Out, and good house keeping.
- Attend monthly maintenance meetings and other appropriate meetings to stay informed and/or disseminate information on plant related issues.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Motivates employees to achieve company goals.
- Delegates work orders and instructions to maintenance staff.
- Provides guidance and direction to the team, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Perform Crew Leader and Maintenance Tech evaluations according to the schedule.
- Ensures safe work practices.
What you bring with you:
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Associates degree or certification in a technical field preferred.
- 2-4 years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
- Sound skill with standard mechanical and electrical component maintenance, repair practices, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift and/or move a minimum weight of 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in high, precarious places up to elevations of 50 feet.
- Have the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small parts.
