Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for the Supervision and implementation of all Maintenance Tech activity in order to optimize production and carry out safe and efficient planned maintenance routines. The Team Leader offers training and problem solving with sound people skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the adequacy of the OJT program and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Look through our CMMS to assess and review completed work orders to verify no other follow up is needed prior to closing.
- Look through and make sure procurement requests are formally processed in MVP and communicated to the Maintenance Manager for approval.
- Coordinates, and inspects, the repairs and maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds.
- Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and troubleshooting various plant equipment.
- Installation, assembly and testing of industrial machinery during plant modification and/or expansion.
- Inspects work for completeness and tools and equipment for accountability.
- Direct training of maintenance techs in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Review PM procedures, and regularly review and monitor maintenance personnel routines.
- Assist with developing new PM's for equipment and maintain and or update current program with any changes per the direction of management.
- Assist management in maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment. Notify manager if parts are needed.
- Review PM work orders and work orders and make sure that priorities are assigned, and parts and plans are communicated / staged / kitted and planned accordingly.
- Backfill on-site technicians and assist with troubleshooting and execution of daily tasks as needed.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Knowledge of equipment set-up functions, operating procedures and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, motivating and managing an employees' skill development.
- Working knowledge and experience in electrical maintenance, HVAC equipment, refrigeration equipment, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- The ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- The ability to function in a fast paced and ever changing work environment.
- Competency with basic computer programs.
- Ability to work with Computerized Maintenance Management System.
