Shoreline Fruit is the largest tart cherry producer in North America operating over 6000 acres of cherry orchards in Michigan, growing and processing over 50 million pounds of cherries each year.

Day Shift : Monday-Friday, some Saturday hours as needed

Position Summary :
Set up, operate, and tend kettles & equipment used in the processing of maraschino cherries and bottling.
Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions :
Bottling Responsibilities
- Sanitize and inspect kettle for startup
- Heat up Kettle for production
Maraschino Responsibilities
- Must be comfortable working with hot liquids
- Some chemicals used in clean up
- Work involves operation of forklifts, when necessary
- Ensure prompt start time at the beginning of shift and after breaks. Adhere to applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment adhering to our good manufacturing practices
Minimum Position Requirements :
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- High School diploma preferred, not required
- Forklift experience preferred, not required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be willing to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs
