Irrigation Installation and Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and prior experience in residential irrigation maintenance and installation. Candidate should also have a passion for solving problems for clients, and being a member of a team. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, ensuring that landscapes remain lush and healthy.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems, to ensure efficient water distribution.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components as needed.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Effectively communicate with clients.
• Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems based on observed performance.

Experience

• Previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance is preferred.
• Experience operating Rain Bird and Hunter controllers, and adjusting irrigation schedules and programs as needed.
• Experience installing and repairing pvc and poly pipes.
• Experience replacing and adjusting a wide range of irrigation heads.
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus opportunities
• Overtime pay

• Installation or maintenance: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
