Job Title: Yard Associate
Department Name: Yard/Inventory
Reports to (title): Logistics Coordinator
Location: Denton, Maryland
Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to receive materials from vendors, put away, label and stock material, keep yard clean and load customers in the yard. Expected to also as needed, retrieve material from Warehouse and take to the production floor. This exciting position in a fast-paced, fun environment is waiting for you!
Essential Job Functions:
- Accurately place materials in designed areas in an orderly manner.
- Inspect all incoming merchandise and shipping materials.
- Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area.
- Report errors to the responsible manager.
- Assist in shipping and receiving.
- Other related work assigned by manager.
- Rotating stock with FIFO practices
- Inspecting manufactured products for defects and damage.
- Picking inventory for production
- Assist with inventory.
- Additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator or ability to obtain within first 30 days of employment.
- Have a can-do-attitude.
- Ability to lift 35lbs.
- Basic understanding of computer skills
Bi-lingual (not required but highly preferred)
