What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide position at Shores Nursing and Rehab Center?
Shores Nursing and Rehab Center is currently seeking candidates for our Laundry Aide position within the Environmental Services Department.
In this role, you will be responsible for loading laundry machines and processing laundry to clean linens. Removes and sorts linens and clothing from dryers. Operates washers and dryers using prescribed cleaning methods. Maintains a high level of quality and safety.
Team members are eligible for a generous benefit package, PTO, and Holiday pay.
Work Schedule: Evening shifts to include weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements: The position demands continuous walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, and pushing. The work requires the occasional lifting of items weighing over 50 pounds. The duties necessitate considerable dexterity, hand, foot, and eye coordination, and concentration as well as visual acuity to see dirt, dust and debris.
