Typical Work hours: 8am - 4:30pm, weekends may be required based on facility needs.
RN Wound Care Responsibilites
- wound dressing changes
- communicating with the wound doctor
- updating resident wound orders
- establishing a restorative nursing program to include walk-to-dine, ROM, splints, etc.
- Assess, treat, and monitor wounds for residents according to best practices.
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate staff on wound care protocols and prevention strategies.
Qualifications
Experience in wound care management in a healthcare setting
Must have a valid RN license in Florida.
Must pass a Level II background screening.
