South Shore Care Center is looking to hire a Part-Time Evening Dietary Aide
South Shore Care Center is a Residential Health Care Facility that provides the highest levels of quality care through continuous improvement, and the involvement of the interdisciplinary team and the entire community. The ideal candidate for this position has previous Dietary aide experience, enjoys working in a busy environment, and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. If you have a passion for food prep and strong customer service, please submit an application to us today.
Responsibilities
- Preparing all beverages including nectar, honey and pudding thick beverages
- Distributing beverages to residents before mealtime
- Cleaning tables and stocking condiments, creamers, sugar, etc.
- Performing correct sanitary measures
- Washing dishes after supper meal Maintain accurate food inventories
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
Skills:
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes
- Serve Safe Certification preferred but not required
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
