What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at SHORES VACATION RENTALS?
Shores Vacation Rentals is a locally owned vacation property management company servicing the Lake of the Ozarks. The properties we manage can be found on Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com ect.
We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who is available for full-time and occasional on call work.
As a Maintenance Technician for Shores Vacation Rentals, you will be scheduled by our office for the following tasks:
- Basic Plumbing (Clogged toilets, drains. Minor leaks in sinks, showers, etc)
- Basic Electric needs (Replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting light issues, fixture replacement)
- Repairs on doors (Patching holes, repairing hinges, etc.)
- Performing maintenance on hot tubs, including balancing chemicals (Training provided)
- Performing inspections on homes, interior and exterior.
- Assisting Maintenance Manager on larger projects such as water heater replacements or remodels.
- Must be able to lift/push/carry/pull 25 to 50 pounds
- This candidate will also work closely with the manager/owner of the company for boat rental deliveries. Boating experience or captains license is a plus.
Requirements
- Must live locally in or near Osage Beach, MO
- Valid Drivers License
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
- Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Boating experience or captains license is a plus, but not required.

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
