What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Football Coach position at Shorewood School District?
The Shorewood School District is seeking an Assistant Football Coach for the 2025-26 school year.
Essential Duties:
- Instruct students on the sport's rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques.
- Organize and lead daily practices
- Determine strategies for games and tournaments
- Supervise athletes during practices and games and ensure their safety
- Supervise assistant coaches and delegate responsibilities as appropriate
- Organize and participate in an end of the season information and evaluation sessions with all assistant coaches
- Participate in pre and post-season meetings with the Athletics Director and or Woodland Conference
- Oversee all levels of the football program
Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience at the high school or college level.
- An understanding of football and the sport's positions.
- AED/CPR/First Aid Certification
- Completion of WIAA Rules and Exams
