Director of Online Enrollment
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license and ability for some travel as needed.
- Must be computer literate and have background in word processing, spreadsheet and database software tools.
- Experience leading and managing multiple employees/departments.
- Must agree to and abide by the Lifestyle Agreement as outlined by Shorter University.
- A commitment to serve Christ, current and prospective students and families, and the university.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to research and critically analyze student records, policies, and institutional strategies.
- A strong desire to coach and motivate students to grow academically, personally, and professionally.
- Demonstrated customer service ability to communicate via phone and email.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Summary:
The Director for Enrollment Services reports directly to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and manages and oversees the enrollment services in relation to the Online Programs at Shorter University. This role includes managing the key areas of Academic Advising and Enrollment for the Online Programs.
Job Duties:
- Manage staff in the Online Programs.
- Oversee all administrative functions for Online Programs.
- Recruit students for the Online Program; follow up on leads and attend job fairs and recruiting events.
- Manage administrative assessment and ensure compliance of all areas related to Online Program.
- Ensure resolution of all student issues and appeals for the Online Program.
- Collaborate with Academic Advising and Registrar’s Office regarding completing the enrollment process,
- Work with the Vice President of Enrollment Management to strategize marketing and new student enrollment into the Online Programs, including monitoring and reporting all student data to include enrollment, activity, progress, and retention.
- Participate in marketing meetings regarding the Online Program.
- Duties assigned by the Vice President of Enrollment Services.
