Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Radiologist, and Director of Imaging, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic mammography procedures, provides quality control measures, and produces quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
- Collects Pertinent Data and Document Procedures
- Performs Digital Mammography
- Assist Physicians with Procedures
- Performs quality control to state and government regulations
Requirements
- Certification and current registration for Registered Technologist (RT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Must obtain registration for Mammography (M) from ARRT within one year of hire
- Must have BLS certification
