Under the direction of the CEO, assists in developing policies and procedures for the Department. Serves patients by providing radiology services and supervising radiology staff. Coordinates department activities including budget development, equipment quality control and maintenance, inventory and ordering of supplies, and performance improvement. Responsible for hiring, supervising and evaluating radiology staff. Work requires interactions with hospital administration, non-clinical and clinical staff, and members of the local medical community.
