We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, including washing and detailing vehicles as needed.
- Assist customers by directing them to appropriate areas and answering any questions they may have.
- Drive vehicles to and from the service area, ensuring safe handling at all times.
- Support sales staff by preparing vehicles for display and managing inventory flow on the lot.
- Perform basic checks on vehicles, including fuel levels and cleanliness, to ensure they are ready for customer delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status and any customer inquiries.
- Provide guest services that enhance the overall customer experience at the dealership.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing vehicle inventory.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
- Experience in a dealership setting or as a delivery driver is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate cash registers or handle basic financial transactions may be required in some situations.
