Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support and supervision to students in the classroom
- Help create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and bathroom breaks
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and development
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's day and progress
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
Skills:
- Experience working with students in a daycare or classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care and support for toddlers
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Basic understanding of childhood development stages
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Previous babysitting or childcare experience is a plus
