Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join our team. This position reports to Quality Assurance Specialists and plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality, compliance standards, and accuracy across our production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform systematic spot-checking of 10-20% of batch cases to verify:
- Product presence in all containers
- Completeness of packaging components
- Accurate container count per case
- Maintain detailed records of quality control inspections
- Report any discrepancies or quality issues to QA Specialists
- Generate barcode stickers using Zebra printer system and specialized applications.
- Create accurate labels incorporating Metrc tag numbers and item names
- Apply barcode stickers with precision, ensuring all compliance information remains visible
- Maintain proper organization of batch and case materials
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Outstanding attention to detail and focus
- Ability to maintain accuracy while working in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent fine motor skills for precise label application
- Capability to manage multiple batches while preventing cross-batch errors
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 30 pounds
