What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Maintenance Technician position at Show Striping Industries?
Summary:
You'll be responsible for applying seal coat to driveways and parking lots, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.
- Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning and prepping work areas
- Apply seal coat using spray wands, squeegees, or other equipment
- Operate and maintain seal coating machines, blowers, and other tools
- Assist with crack filling and heat patching as needed
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to complete jobs on time
Previous experience in asphalt maintenance or construction is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate!
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
