What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painting Assistant position at Show Striping Industries?
Summary:
- Layout and install pavement markings on roadways, parking lots, athletic courts, and airports according to specifications and other various requirements.
- Calculate field measurements using engineered plans and/or google earth images.
- Track and record quantities of pavement markings on each project.
- Perform traffic control. Example; flagging, short-term lane closures, and slow-moving mobile lane closures.
- Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Operate and maintain various equipment to install pavement markings.
- Load and unload trucks on a daily basis.
- Drive company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job site.
- Perform other work related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
- Have a strong attention to detail to ensure precise and professional striping work
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
Pay is based on experience.
