We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. Your role will involve interacting with pet owners, understanding their needs, and providing the best care for their beloved animals. Pay is commission plus 100% of tips

Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all animals during grooming sessions by using proper handling techniques and restraint methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any observed health concerns.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service quality.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for both pets and clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as animal care or dog handling is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various dog breeds, their grooming requirements, and behavior.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
• Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during grooming sessions.
• Previous experience in pet sitting or kennel management is a plus.
• Certification in dog training is advantageous but not required.
• Passion for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
