Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, fabrication, and the ability to read schematics. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and supervising maintenance activities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
- Weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Utilize an Ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Maintain electrical systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
- Supervise maintenance staff during projects and daily operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules.
- Document all maintenance activities and report on equipment status.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience supervising a team or leading projects is a plus.
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
