Software Developer C# (Mid- Level)

This is a hybrid work position. The role is required to be in-office (at our Brooklyn Center office) every other Tuesday and / or as business needs require.

Our IT team is growing, and we are looking to add a Mid-Level Software Developer to our team. This role will provide project definition and implementation through hands-on working with a team leveraging Agile Scrum development and project management best practices.  If you enjoy working independently and within a group in a collaborative environment, this role is for you. You will also be part of an Agile Development team.

What you will be responsible for:

• Maintain existing software
• Use web services to integrate applications with company ERP and CRM system
• Participate in requirements gathering for new applications
• Design new applications using Object Orientated Patterns
• Perform unit and system testing of applications
• Maintain development and testing environments
• Maintain source code and versions for all applications
• Develop and maintain databases used by applications
• Create and maintain IIS environments used for testing and development
• Be able to manage and support multiple projects at a time
• Support business strategic objectives
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing/coding in C#
• 4 year degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with developing against Microsoft SQL databases
• Application security and best practices
• Visual Studio experience - VS 2022 preferred.
• Relational database experience.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience with Javascript and Typescript, or similar frameworks
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Experience with REST API Web services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft IIS web servers
• Experience using CSS and DOM in website design
• Experience in load and performance testing applications
• Experience with creating ecommerce web applications
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts is a plus
• Experience in optimizing SQL queries and database performance is a plus
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus

The national pay range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000/year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, and performance.  In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in our profit-sharing program.
