Shower Door Installer

   We are a growing shower door company, looking to fill 2 positions. First, an installation technician, preferably with experience in glazing/shower door installation. Pay is negotiable based on experience. The second position would be as an installation technician helper. No experience necessary for this position. Pay starts at 15.00 an hour. Both positions must be willing to lift 75 pounds and learn proper glass carrying techniques. All tools are provided by the company.                                                                                                On the job training, will be paid. Work hours are, 8am to 5pm. Overtime is on an as need basis, but not a  common occurrence. We do have a couple of hospitality (hotels) jobs coming up that would require out of town travel. Hotels are paid for by the company.                                                                                                     The installation technician would be responsible for driving a company van to and from the installation locations, so a clean driving record is required. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:               Getting work orders and company phone to start the day. Loading and unloading glass ,hardware, tools, and supplies into van. Dealing with customers in a professional manner. Proper installation of each shower door. Learning all product knowledge. Getting to customers on time as well as communicating your ETA with them. Reporting back to the production manager at the end of each day.                                                       Helpers would be responsible for assisting the installation technician with their work. Must be able to carry glass and all tools into each job, and be willing to learn and assist with all necessary steps to complete a successful installation.                                                                                                                           There are opportunities for advancement for the right candidates.                    ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIOS :                                                                                             - Can i show up on time every day for work?                                                                                                 - Can I maintain a positive attitude during work?                                                                                           - Where is 28 3/8 on a measuring tape ?                                                                                                       - Is 75 pounds too much for me to carry?                                                                                                   If you answered, "heck ya, I can" for the first two, you managed to find  28 3/8"  on the tape measure, and  then you realize that 75 pounds is light work, then you have what it takes to make it as a shower door technician, and we would love to hear from you.
