Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our maintenance team as an Intern Maintenance Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in various maintenance tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals. The Intern Maintenance Assistant will support our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Cleaning and organizing work areas
- Performing basic repairs and adjustments
- Conducting inspections and assessments of equipment and facilities
- Support senior maintenance staff in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues.
- Learn and adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and efficiently complete maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any findings or concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Engineering, Facilities Management, Maintenance Technology, etc.) or recent graduate.
- Strong interest in maintenance and facility management.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly on the job.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
