Floor Manager/ SHOWROOM

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the restaurant floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining smooth workflow. This role requires leadership, problem-solving skills, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer and Guest Experience:

• Ensure all guest receive excellent service and a welcoming dining experience.
• Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, order and proper set up.
• Work closely with servers and hosts to optimize seating and service flow.

Staff Supervision and Training:

• Lead and manage front of house staff, including servers, hosts and bartenders.
• Train new employees and conduct ongoing coaching for team development.
• Motivate and encourage staff to maintain high service standards.

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily floor operations to ensure efficiency and smooth service.
• Coordinate witht he kitchen and bar staff to maintain workflow.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:

• Quickly address any service issues or operational challenges.
• Resolve staff disputes and ensure a positive work environment
• Manage emergency situations, such as customer illness or staff shortages.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar restaurant
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of restaurant software such as Open Table and Toast is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality management.

Pay: $41,800.00 - $45,900.00 per year
