What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursery & Landscape Team Member position at Shreckhise Shrubbery Sales & Landscaping?
Great pay and flexible scheduling - full and part time welcome! We are seeking reliable people to join our nursery crew and landscaping teams. We are willing to work with your schedule. We provide landscape services such as planting, mulching, and trimming to our residential and commercial clients throughout the Valley. Each day can bring a different project or job site. Offering full-time and part-time positions.
Landscape Duties
- Able to work from 7:30 am on a daily basis
- Periodically able to work till after 5:00 PM
- Able to work individually and with a crew
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to work outdoors in all types of weather
Nursery Lot Duties
- Able to work from 7:30 am on a daily basis
- Periodically able to work till after 5:00 PM
- Able to assist in caring for plant material - watering, feeding, trimming
- Able to assist customers in plant selection and purchase
- Able to assist in maintenance of nursery lot and hoop houses
- Able to learn, or perform, loading of mulch, topsoil, compost, gravel, etc.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to work outdoors in all types of weather
Consideration for someone with the following:
- Previous experience with landscaping is preferred, but lack of experience is not a deal-breaker
- Experience with tractors, farm equipment, skid loader is optional - we are willing to train
- Prefer active VA driver license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
