Founded in 1960, Shreveport Communication Service, LLC is a full-service Motorola dealer and wireless integrator providing mission critical systems covering north Louisiana, east Texas, and southwest Arkansas.
Shreveport Communication Service, LLC is seeking an experienced information technology specialist that is looking for opportunity and challenge to expand their training and experience to provide technical support for mission-critical communication systems used by our customers. This position requires the exercise of thoughtful analysis and independent judgment in the absence of direct supervision.
In addition to the above requirements, this position requires:
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, provisioning new systems, and maintaining enterprise technology and security standards.
- Capable of performing routine maintenance and execute patch management procedures for critical business systems.
- High levels of analytical problem-solving and organizational skills are a must for this position.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of independently resolving frequent customer issues and complaints.
- Work assignments with limited instruction and supervisory direction and is frequently given latitude on the methods used to achieve assigned goals.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and interact successfully with a diverse community and to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with the team and our customers.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in the Information Technology field.
- Experience working with radio frequency (RF), specifically related to Motorola technologies.
- Wireless Networking
- Fixed Video, Access Control or LPR (License Plate Reader) Technologies.
