POSITION: Long-Term substitute Moderate Special Education Teacher

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Moderate Special Education Teacher for Shrewsbury High School, beginning as soon as possible. The length of this long-term substitute assignment is unknown.
We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom and have experience working in various models of special education (inclusion, co-taught, substantially separate).
Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are encouraged to apply.

Preferred:
•Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as a Moderate Special Education Teacher Grades 5-12
•Strong knowledge of high school student needs and programming
