Our team at Shriners Children's is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing medical research. We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join our Office of Philanthropy as the Director of Philanthropy.
Main Objectives
- Secure donations from loyal supporters and cultivate prospective donors within our community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospital-affiliated Shrine Centers and local businesses.
- Support the implementation of the Shriners Children's major giving program by focusing on individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
- Cultivate and steward leadership giving level and corporate donor relationships through personal visits, written communication, and cultivation strategies.
Requirements
- 5 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience required, including experience with sponsorship events.
- A track record of successful fundraising or similar accomplishments is essential.
- Prior experience with Charitable Gift Annuities, bequests, and other planned giving vehicles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
