Job Overview
We currently have an opening for a on-call Housekeeper/Janitor to join our Spokane, WA team. Must have basic knowledge of good housekeeping and laundry practices. Must have the interpersonal skills necessary to work well with others and communicate appropriately with other departments. Capable of evaluating the quality of the services that we provide. Necessary to follow Universal Precautions, Infection Control and Safety guidelines.
Schedule: On-call, mixed (in-person)
Compensation range: Pay range for this position is $16.28/hr - $21.62/hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.
Responsibilities
Implements the Disinfection and Terminal Cleaning of Areas• Responsible for the disinfection of routine & terminal cleaning in areas assigned.Laundry• Removes soiled linens from department to the soiled utility room on first floorUtilization of Time• Does not spend excessive time with patients, visitors, and staff.Safety• Immediately reports needed repairs per maintenance work orders.Floor Care• Sweeps, wet mops, vacuums floors and spot cleans carpet. Note: This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year experience in environmental services or laundry
Salary : $16 - $22
