Job Overview
Shriners Children's has an opportunity for a Full Time Sr. Supply Chain Technician. The Sr. Supply Chain Technician is responsible for full-cycle supply chain activities for the Salt Lake City clinic, to include but not limited to receiving, purchasing, delivery, and inventory management. Will need a valid driver's license to perform this position. This is a benefit-eligible PRN position working Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week that is slated to go full-time within the next six months. Responsibilities
- Support, advise and assist departmental managers within their hospital with supply chain and budgetary needs.
- Assist with local hospital recalls.
- Support the shipping, receiving, inventory control and dispatch functions of supply chain management.
- Assist with the creation and upkeep of maximum reorder points to ensure product availability within corporate objectives.
- Prepare and issue emergency purchase orders within corporate guidelines and procedures.
- Prepare annual capital requests following corporate processes.

Qualifications
Education
- High School diploma or GED, required
Experience
- 2 years’ experience in supply chain/materials management, required
- Knowledge/experience with Lawson procurement, medical supplies, inventory control and purchasing procedures preferred
- Must have working computer ability/knowledge , ability to consistently lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
Certification and Licensures
- State drivers license in which facility is located, required
