Job Overview
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Full-time Switchboard Operator to join our team. The Switchboard Operator operates a single or multiple position PBX telephone switchboard. May keep records of calls and toll charges and may operate a paging system and perform duties of receptionist. May perform clerical or other duties also.
Schedule: Full-time M-F (in-person)
Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year
Compensation range: The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Directs all incoming Telephone Calls.
- Greets and directs customers individuals entering lobby.
- Performs clerical duties.
- Makes clear anonouncements over the paging system.
- Responsible for intra and inter office communications and hospital and departmental policies.

Qualifications
Education
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Skills
1 years receptionist/ switchboard experience preferred
1 year Administrative Experience in office setting preferred
