- Support clinical integration, operations, and achievement of clinical excellence related to Informatics
- Supports the Clinical Analyst with development, delivery, communication and evaluation of staff education related to clinical systems
- Coach, mentor, and provide at-the-elbow support for members of the clinical team in gaining and maintaining competency in use of clinical information and communication systems
- Support Clinical Analyst in developing and coordinating communication regarding future EHR changes to clinical staff and stakeholders
- Develop and perform competency assessments related to clinician use of information systems; documents findings; designs and delivers targeted remediation training as necessary. Evaluates effectiveness of interventions. Facilitates and or participates in interdisciplinary teams to identify clinical systems improvementsProject Management
- Leads project teams, coordinates work activities, reports on work status and provides input on team performance
- Utilizes expertise and understanding of all clinical applications to instruct and coach team members
- Take on project / engagement management responsibilities as required and assignedProvide leadership, consultative skills and subject matter expertise

- Follows through to ensure final resolution of problems, recommending longer-term solutions when appropriate and communicating back to the individual reporting the problem
- Bringing work groups together and come to a consensus for system changes
- Facilitates the two-way flow of communication for establishing and maintaining understanding between Information Systems and Clinical departments
- Participates in the development of Policies and Procedures for area(s) of responsibility

- Maintain Cerner Model Experience
- Serves as a resource to individuals and teams at the local level and in collaboration with Headquarters
- Provides opportunities for users to verbalize concerns and suggest potential improvements related to the use of clinical information systems
- Coordinates work with users and the Information Technology department to resolve conflicts between workflow and the clinical information systems
- Participates in post implementation change evaluation and supports users in maintaining changed processes
- Assist in testing new system applications and other special assignments as directed
- Provide workflow analysis and recommendations for optimization of the clinical and non-clinical EHR interfaced applications
