Job Overview Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury and pediatric subspecialties medical center, is looking for a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant to become part of our Orthopedic team and work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, and provide care for orthopaedic patients within scope of practice. This position is per diem, non exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $78.33 to $110.59/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity. Responsibilities Responsibilities include attending general and specialty orthopaedic clinics, assess and treat outpatients (including scheduled patients and those with urgent problems), perform pre-operative history and physical exams; provide case management support for selected patients, and may provide support for clinical research projects. Schedules for this position vary and may require occasional early start. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
