Job Overview
Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time / weekend day shift Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. Hours: Full-time, night shift, weekend position to work 72 hours bi-weekly. Will work 12 hour shifts, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities
- The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
- The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
- This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
- BSN degree or in process
- Ohio RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2 years bedside RN experience
- Pediatric and ICU experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
