What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Analyst position at ShrinQ Consulting Group?
You will collaborate with project, operations managers, and architects to establish strong
partnerships with the client's business teams. This involves a deep understanding of the client's
business goals, fostering rapport and trust. You will play a crucial role in translating both business and technical requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria. This translation ensures a cohesive understanding and alignment across diverse cross-functional teams involved in the project.
• Sound working knowledge of the Now Platform and core architecture and IT Service Management modules, including Service Catalog, Incident, Change, CMDB, Asset Management, Service Level, Knowledge, Mobile Agent, and Self-Service Portal
• Conduct thorough requirements gathering, asking the right questions to stakeholders,
including tower owners, business unit managers, subject matter experts, and end user testers.
• Employs various methods, including unstructured and structured interviews, prepared documents or questionnaires, document review, observation, and prototyping.
• Translate business and technical requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria,
ensuring a common understanding across cross-functional teams.
• Validate and confirm responses, ensuring no room for misinterpretation after requirements
gathering.
• Collaborate with managers and architects to establish partnerships with business teams to
ensures a deep understanding of the client's business goals and requirements.
• Assist in managing and executing testing activities, ensuring that solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:
• 2 year of related experience
• 1 year of experience as ServiceNow Business Analyst
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• ServiceNow Micro-Certification
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes and best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST API, SOAP, etc.).
