In this role, you will work closely with customers to deliver personalized healthcare services in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.
Essential Functions:
- Engage with customers to offer prompt, polite, and professional assistance.
- Ensure assigned areas are neat, clean, and adequately stocked.
- Demonstrate competence in cash handling and Front Register Cashier responsibilities.
- Understand and utilize the pharmacy computer system, focusing on workflow optimization.
- Streamline Prescription bagging and courier manifest creation.
- Efficiently process charge account transactions and manage daily cash deliveries.
- Evaluate customer wait times and allocate resources accordingly.
- Develop an understanding of DME equipment capabilities to address customer inquiries and complete relevant documentation correctly.
- Monitor and update sales and log records, as well as maintain accurate signature logs.
- Promote pharmacy services to every customer interaction.
- Adhere to standard pharmacy closing procedures, including comprehensive restocking.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Relevant experience as a cashier in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
