Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for an Outpatient Child Therapist (LPC, LCSW, PsyD/PhD)
Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical/Counseling Psychologist to join our Outpatient Mental Health providers serving children and adolescents in three counties across mid-Oregon. Job Specifics
- Position based across two locations in Corvallis, OR and Albany, OR
- 0.6 FTE w/ Samaritan, and 0.4 FTE in partnership with ABC House (children's advocacy center)
- Mon – Fri, 8a-5p; 25 patient contact hours weekly
- Option for some flexibility for a hybrid work environment, using telehealth up to 2 days/week
- At Samaritan Mental Health, provide individual, group and family counseling and education including; assessment/diagnosis, appropriate brief/time-sensitive treatment, client-related written reports and data collection as appropriate. Primarily serve clients aged 4 to 22 years
- At ABC House, serve victims and witnesses of childhood abuse and neglect.
- Minimal weekday call – for own patients only; no overnight call responsibilities
- Coordinates care with other providers and agencies as needed
- Coordinates referral processes as needed
- Opportunity to engage with a variety of learners – psychology trainees, and psychiatry residents and fellows
·Job Requirements
- Currently licensed/license eligible in Oregon in psychology, social work, or other appropriate clinical therapy and must meet credentialing standards
- Experience with evidence based, short term psychotherapy modalities
- Knowledge of ethical standards and Oregon state law pertaining to the practice of therapy for the specific license held
- Multicultural awareness and skills in a clinical setting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
