About the Role
As a Product Designer at Shuert Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our cutting-edge thermoformed plastic products. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious candidate with a strong background in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), particularly with proficiency in Solidworks or NX. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of design principles.

What You’ll Do

· Harness the power of CAD tools to design intricate tooling fixtures and processing equipment. Your designs will not only ensure the efficiency, quality, and safety of plastic product production but also showcase your mastery of CAD.
· Dive deep into specifications, engineering drawings, and design data to unravel the critical factors influencing component design. Your analytical skills will be crucial in overcoming engineering challenges.
· Take the lead in providing regular updates on development progress to group leaders. Your communication skills will be key to keeping the team informed and aligned.

Qualifications
· 3 years of product design experience, with a design portfolio that shows work you were directly responsible for.
· Proficiency in CAD software and concepts – NX, Catia, SolidWorks preferred, but not required.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes preferred but not required.
