Installer Assistant

Our Services : Wet Area Remodeling (Showers, Tubs & Walk-in Tubs)

Our Service Area : San Diego, CA, and surrounding areas.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

• Assist lead installers with tasks related to bathroom remodels.


• Demolition of existing bathroom and debris hauling.


• Job site preparation, including supply runs and preparing tools and materials, and setting up dust control and floor protection.


• Assist with bathroom wet area construction tasks such as building walls, setting pans/tubs, installing glass, cutting panels and installing walls, etc.


• Clean and prepare the job site; sweep areas; remove debris and trash.


• Use appropriate tools and equipment; properly maintain and store tools and equipment.


• Communicate regularly with team and management.

Qualifications: To be an assistant installer you should have a baseline skills set that will allow you to learn the following:

• Carpentry | Plumbing | Framing | Light Electrical | Handyman Skills



• Professional Drywall Patches


• Soldering | P-Traps


• Attention to detail


• Excitement to work in a team-oriented environment


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Great attendance and positive attitude



• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent
• To become a lead installer you will be required to have a full-size truck or van


• No tools required


• The successful candidate will be subject to our pre-employment background screening process, including, but not limited to criminal background check, drug screening, and driving record check

Physical Demands and Abilities:

• Regularly lift and/or move objects from 10-80 lbs at a constant pace.



• Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.


• Able to bend, lift, push, pull and reach for up to 8 hours at a time.


• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.


• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.



• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Assistants: $18 - $22/hr, based on experience.



• Lead Installers can earn $125,000 annually, based on performance.


• Weekly stipend to cover gas and tools

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, four days a week



• From 7:00am to 5:30pm



• Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday
