Project Manager for Project Portfolio Reporting
MUST be local to New York City. Hybrid Schedule, at least 3 days onsite
Salary Range: $105k to $150k base

In this role you will be responsible for partnering with Function heads, SMEs, the broader APMO team, and others to develop and execute ongoing project portfolio reporting for various functions across the bank. This role reports to the Portfolio Reporting Lead within the Program Management Office Governance & Reporting team. Your role is to facilitate increased transparency into the full scope of work by collating the active and future planned projects contributing to the function’s overall strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitating the development and documentation of a Function’s strategy
- Assisting in reconfirming and setting prioritization of projects executing the strategy
- Maintenance of consolidated view of active programs both function driven and function impacting
- Production and / or editing of rigorous weekly status reporting, including tracking of projects and work packages/milestones responsible to be delivered by the function
- Raise and review (if needed) interdependencies across projects to ensure successful delivery
- Development of Resource Allocation template and Budget Tracking
- Coaching and mentoring for project management best practices and alignment with program and project management standards and procedure
- Translate technical requirements into plain English for non SME's
Requirements:
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills including experience performing this across multiple functions, committees, and areas
- Significant experience and track record of portfolio-level reporting. This includes how to structure major initiatives, project planning, budgeting and resource allocation
- Ability to gain deep understanding of cross-functional processes as well as the technologies and data which enable these
- Strong business, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven experience of team leadership, both directly and indirectly, career development of others and developing individuals in the program and change management space
- Superior communication skills: both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Excellent grammar skills
- Financial Services experience a must
