What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Litigation Attorney position at Shulman Rogers, PA?
Shulman Rogers' Litigation Group is seeking an experienced attorney in our Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of commercial litigation experience, including in both state and federal courts, and will assume immediate responsibility in all litigation matters. This position will sit in the firm's Baltimore office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis legal issues.
- Assist senior attorneys in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Manage, organize, and oversee all aspects of e-discovery.
- Attend court hearings, mediation sessions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
- Participate in all aspects of case development from inception to conclusion
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of four years litigation experience.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software, specifically with e-discovery management platforms such as Relativity or Nextpoint.
A strong candidate for this position will have judicial clerkship experience.
