Supervision and Coordination:
The Residential Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on residential construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the highest safety and quality standards. This role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating with other departments, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day activities of residential construction projects.
- Coordinate activities between subcontractors, suppliers, and other on-site personnel.
- Ensure that work is progressing according to the project timeline and plans.
- Oversee site operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Quality Control:
- Inspect work on-site to ensure it meets quality standards and building codes.
- Ensure the proper materials and tools are being used in line with project specifications.
- Report and resolve any issues or discrepancies with the quality of work.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce all safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and monitor job site for unsafe practices.
- Ensure all personnel have the necessary protective equipment and follow safety protocols.
Project Management:
- Monitor construction progress and provide regular reports on the status of the project to upper management.
- Work with the Project Manager to resolve any issues that could affect project deadlines or budgets.
- Track and manage materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and utilization on-site.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and train construction workers and subcontractors on-site.
- Foster a collaborative environment among the team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Address performance issues and promote team productivity and morale.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including work schedules, daily logs, and inspections.
- Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports for upper management regarding project status, budgets, and timelines.
Customer and Client Relations:
- Communicate with homeowners, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
- Attend project meetings with clients to review progress and changes in scope.
- Handle any conflicts or issues that arise between the construction team and clients.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management, building safety, or related fields are a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction or similar supervisory roles.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Proficient in construction software or project management tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- On-site at residential construction projects.
- Interaction with workers, contractors, and clients on a daily basis.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
