Gallion's Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge, an upscale yet approachable dining destination in Rosemary Beach, is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager/Sommelier to oversee our award-winning wine program and manage floor operations. This role combines leadership, hospitality, and beverage expertise, offering the unique opportunity to work with rare and allocated spirits, an extensive wine list, and a craft cocktail-driven bar.

Responsibilities:
Beverage Program Management:
- Collaborate with the Beverage Operations team to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and maintained.
- Curate and update the wine program, including seasonal menu updates and featuring rare and allocated selections.
- Maintain vendor relationships, manage wine deliveries, and oversee beverage ordering in coordination with the retail team.
- Lead team education on overall beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits, and cocktail offerings.
- Organize and host wine tastings, beverage pairings, and special events to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
Restaurant Management:
- Oversee floor operations during service, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and train the front-of-house team, fostering a culture of excellence and hospitality.
- Address guest concerns, manage reservations, and ensure that service is timely and professional.
- Supervise daily operations, including staff scheduling, team performance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Beverage Operations team to align service and beverage offerings with restaurant goals.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with the retail team to maintain seamless communication regarding inventory and deliveries.
- Serve as a liaison between the front and back of house to ensure efficient service and team cohesion.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3-5 years in a management role within upscale dining.
- Advanced wine certification (e.g., CMS Level 2, WSET Level 3) and a strong background in managing wine programs is preferred.
Skills and Expertise:
- Comprehensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails, including rare and allocated selections.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, inspire, and develop a team.
