Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive landscape designs that incorporate elements such as plants, hardscapes, and irrigation systems.
- Utilize software tools such as ArcGIS and ArcView to create detailed design plans and presentations.
- Conduct land surveying to assess site conditions and constraints.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that all aspects of the design process are executed efficiently.
- Implement sustainable design practices that promote environmental stewardship.
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals during the construction phase to ensure design integrity.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including specifications for materials and installation procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to landscape design.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in landscape design software
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Experience in project management within the landscape industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of hardscape materials and techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their implementation in landscape projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
