We are seeking an Endpoint Manager that will have hands-on role responsbilities for technical management, team leadership, as well as hands-on work relating to monthly security patching, software deployment, PC and server compliance, and endpoint configuration. This is the perfect blend of continuing your technical responsibilites with managerial and stratgeic priorities.
This position is HYBRID (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home), based in our Niles, IL HQ each week.
- Utilize technical skills for the management of SCCM, Intune, Jamf, and Manage Engine Endpoint Central, executing tasks as necessary.
- Develop, implement, and manage processes for timely security patching and updates of IT endpoints including doing hands-on work as required.
- Oversee and actively participate in the deployment and updates of enterprise software across the company's endpoints.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for IT endpoints, including both servers and user-facing systems.
- Develop, manage and deploy standard configurations for IT endpoints to meet user needs and security requirements.
- Stay current on the latest developments in endpoint technology and management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams and management, maintaining consistency and security across all IT assets.
- Manage the team's budget, ensuring cost-efficiency while meeting all operational requirements.
- Provide regular reports to IT senior management on endpoint status, security, and compliance.
- Nurture team member growth through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations while also leading by example through hands-on technical work.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of wide-ranging experience with responsibility for results, including costs and methods.
- Proven experience in a hands-on IT management role.
- Extensive hands-on knowledge and experience with endpoint management tools such as SCCM, Intune, Jamf, and Manage Engine Endpoint Central.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux system administration and patch management.
- Strong understanding of IT compliance and security standards.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives.
- Able to lead cooperative efforts among team members.
- Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Able to develop and administer schedules and establish performance requirements
- Able to provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
- Experience with advising subordinates how to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- Responsible for the hiring, firing, and performance review of staff.
- Ability to travel locally as needed and occasionally out-of-the-area with overnights as needed.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary range for this position is between $117,600 - $220,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
