At Shure, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior DSP Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced digital signal processing (DSP) solutions for our cutting-edge audio products. This role requires a deep understanding of DSP algorithms, architectures, and implementation techniques, as well as a strong background in audio signal processing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Pioneer innovative DSP solutions for audio signal processing, including noise reduction, echo cancellation, and high-fidelity audio codecs.
- Optimize real-time audio performance through the development and fine-tuning of software on DSP chips, FPGAs, and other digital platforms.
- Execute rigorous testing, verification, and validation of DSP algorithms and systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and compatibility.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of the latest advancements and emerging technologies in the DSP field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or Ph.D. in DSP or a related field is highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital signal processing, with a strong focus on audio signal processing and algorithms.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in advanced DSP theory, algorithms, and implementation techniques.
- Expertise in programming languages such as C/C , assembly language, and scripting languages for real-time DSP applications.
- Deep understanding of DSP platforms and ability to optimize software.
- Exposure to machine learning algorithms and ability to debug and optimize models for integration in embedded platforms.
- Strong background in audio signal processing techniques, including advanced audio effects, adaptive filtering, and beamforming.
