As we grow, we are looking for charismatic and experienced Lead Wedding Photographers to join our dynamic team and help us create unforgettable memories for our couples.
The Role:
As a Lead Wedding Photographer with Shutter & Sound, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual memories of our clients' most special day. You will use your artistic vision and expert knowledge of wedding photography to capture the love, joy, and unique moments of each ceremony and reception.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead photographer at weddings, adhering to the schedule laid out by the couple and making sure to capture all of their requests (plus all the "usual" shots) in a timely and professional manner.
- Direct and organize photo sessions to capture both candid moments and staged portraits.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences.
- Coordinate with other photographers and videographers to ensure a seamless capture of the event.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent communication with clients, guests, and team members during events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a lead photographer in the wedding industry, with a portfolio to showcase your work.
- Exceptional ability to direct, organize, and motivate others during shoots.
- Must be able to commit to dates far in advance (anywhere from 3 to 12 months)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be charismatic and great with people.
- Availability to work primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Must own a high end camera capable of shooting on 2 cards simultaneously (in case one card fails)
- Commitment to delivering high-quality photographs and exceptional customer service.
- Must have a reliable car
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate of $150/hr.
