What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Fulfillment Manager I position at Shutterfly?
The Partner Fulfillment Manager is responsible for the management of assigned external fulfillment partners supporting the Shutterfly family of brands. The Partner Fulfillment team is the command center for externally fulfilled products.
What You Will So Here:
- The Partner Fulfillment Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day order management activities with external fulfillment partners.
- Provides daily/weekly communication to external fulfillment partners and internal teams for promotions, forecast, out of stock, order issues, partner quality, billing, fulfillment reporting/dashboards, inventory, partner capacity, capacity backlog modeling, inventory and exhaust modeling.
- Manages external fulfillment partners to established business rules for incoming external fulfillment volume, customer delivery expectations and organizational targets; cart time, routing rules
- Plan and manage external fulfillment partners through peak order periods in the planning, management and fulfillment of incoming volume to meet customer delivery expectations and organizational targets; Q4, holidays, promotional periods
- Monitor health and performance of external fulfillment partners addressing performance gaps and taking corrective action as needed to ensure external fulfillment partners are delivering to established metrics.
- Proactively raise issues and risks to the appropriate stakeholders. Offer solutions to mitigate issues and risk.
- Develop and sustain strong ongoing relationships with external fulfillment partners, internal & external stakeholders and diverse cross functional teams
- Travel as needed (5-10%)
- Available during peak periods of order volume: early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
The Skills You Will Bring:
- 5 years’ experience within ecommerce fulfillment, distribution, supply chain and logistics functions
- Experience in Supply Chain solutions (process/business models, tools, management of change) across Supply Chain functions (Forecasting, Planning, Order Fulfillment, Procurement, Logistics, Master Data Management).
- Ability to communicate at various levels inside and outside of the organization to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical.
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgement
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Interested in long-term career development.
- Advanced skillset with MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs)
- Strong analytical skills

Salary : $64,500 - $81,600
