Shutts & Bowen, a full-service law firm serving clients locally, nationally, and internationally, seeks a Legal Word Processor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- May perform any or all of the following
- This position requires you to work from 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a mandatory on-call weekend rotation.
- Must reside in the State of Florida.
- The successful candidate will actively engage with all office locations.
- Applicants must be tech-savvy and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm word processing department.
- You must be organized, capable of multitasking, and ready to provide helpdesk support and general office assistance.
- You should perform well under pressure and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
- Follow departmental procedures and clearly understand instructions for assigned tasks.
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Kofax, Best Case, Best Authority, iManage, Forte, Litera, Photoshop, and Microsoft Visio is required.
- Exhibit exceptional document management skills, including formatting and styling documents, creating tables of contents (TOCs) and tables of authorities (TOAs), document conversions, formatting, and transcription.
- Stay ahead of technology and software changes within the firm to maintain yourself as an expert in document preparation.
- Troubleshoot document-related issues effectively.
